Half the week left.

Hi my blogger community, I am so tired and it is only half way through this week. I am sitting at my desk again staring at my laptop and my eyes have gone all crossed eyed. I was thinking last night how great it would be to just sleep in for like another four hours or so, but then a thought if I did I could loose my job.

OK this is how it goes. For the last couple of weeks I have been thinking on how we as humans can impact on the environment a little less. I came up with a solution, we just stop breathing and there is your solution to global warming. No humans no global warming. Ha Ha Ha.....! Only joking, I think. Now back to the point look around your house hold and think of what appliances use the most electricity and try and come up with solutions to maybe minimise their usage or invent something that will save electricity.

Here is one the Geyser. The geyser is one of the biggest contributors to our electricity bill each month. Approximately 30% of our electricity bill is from our geyser. Why is this so high? This is because of the heating element that is found inside your geysers, all appliances that use a heating element consume the most amount of electricity.

So here is the challenge I pose to the blogging community. Take the geyser for example and look at how it functions and try and think of solutions to minimise the use of your geyser to save electricity or come up with something completely different , its your world to decide.

And there where many more days in between

Hello.....

I know it has been a long time since my last blog, but I have been very busy at work it has been hectic. Just non-stop, do this and that and then leave the country to fly up Africa into Tanzania. WOW I lead a hard life. While I was on my way back from the land of animals and people, we drove through the Serengeti National Park. It was more like we drove on the boarder road of the Park, but i still got to see some animals.

The most amazing thing was that the road acted as a natural boundary, there were no fences. To the right were animals and to the left were people. The animals somehow knew if they crossed the road that they most likely would have become dinner that night. I think the people on the left also knew if they crossed the road into the park that there was some potential that they would have also become a light brunch for a hungry lion.

So this is my blog for today. Sorry to all my fans, I know it has been a while, but i will not let it be happen again. I promise and cross my heart. NEW BLOG COMMING SOON TO A COMPUTER SCREEN NEAR YOU....
